Beaujolais Nouveau Lunch
Every year on the third Thursday of November, the first wines of the new Beaujolais harvest are released, and we’re marking the day with a long, relaxed lunch.
Join us from 12:30pm for a French-style sharing lunch: a Lyonnais spread of baguettes, pâté, charcuterie, cheese and salads, brought to the table to pass round. With it you’ll taste four wines, including the new Nouveau releases. We’re joined by Alois Marra, representing Terroirs Originels, to talk you through what’s in your glass.

Santa Breakfast
Bring the little ones down for a proper Christmas breakfast with Santa.
Each child’s ticket includes a cooked breakfast, a drink, a small gift to take home and a few minutes with Santa himself. While breakfast is being prepared, there’s a simple table activity to keep little hands busy.

Festive Murder Mystery: Poison in the Pudding
Things are heating up in the kitchen at the Annual Christmas Cook-off Bonanza, where professional chefs compete for the acclaimed prize, and a lovely £100,000 cheque that comes with it.
A secret ingredient, it seems, has been added to one of the entries this year, however, as the Head Judge is found poisoned before they can give the result!
Join us and Moonstone Murders for an evening of murder mystery, packed with plot twists, suspicious suspects and plenty of red herrings. Can you catch the killer?
Settle in for a 3-course dinner while the drama unfolds around you. No acting experience required, just your best detective instincts.

Pumpkin Carving Lunch
Half term just got a bit more fun. Every child ordering from our kids’ menu gets a free pumpkin to carve right here at the pub. We’ll have them pre-hollowed and ready to go, so all the kids need to do is get creative.

Oktoberfest at The Grand Junction Arms
Prost! This October, we're bringing a proper Bavarian evening to the garden. Think a full Paulaner tap takeover, bratwurst and pretzels, live music, and everything else you'd want from a proper beer hall night — just with a lot more Tring in it.
What's on
We've taken over the taps for the night with Paulaner Helles, Festbier and Weiss, alongside bratwurst and pretzels to keep you going. There's live music to get the night moving, followed by a playlist to see us through to close. Grab a table with friends, settle in, and let the evening do the rest.
Getting your ticket
Entry — £15
Your ticket includes entry to the event and a pint of Paulaner Helles, served in your very own souvenir pint stein — which is yours to keep and take home at the end of the night.
Premium — £30 (limited to 20 tickets)
Everything in Entry, but your pint is upgraded to a full stein of Paulaner Helles. You'll also get a pretzel, a tote bag and a Paulaner hat to see you through the evening. Like every ticket, you'll take home your own souvenir pint stein too.
Dress the part
Fancy getting properly into the spirit of it? Dust off your lederhosen or dirndl — traditional Oktoberfest dress is very welcome for the evening, though far from compulsory. Come as you are, or come dressed to impress — either way, we'll see you in the garden.

Murder Mystery Dinner: Peril on the Palatine Express
St Pancras station, 1928. A train pulls into Platform 4 shrouded in coal smoke — and a scream cuts through the crowd. Join us at The Grand Junction Arms for a 3-course dinner and an immersive 1920s murder mystery from Moonstone Murders. Mingle with suspicious characters, pick up clues over dinner, and see if you can catch the killer before dessert is cleared.
£55 per person, includes 3-course dinner and full performance.

Three days of live music in the garden this August Bank Holiday. Friday night brings a Shania Twain Tribute Act, Saturday's a full family afternoon of magicians, balloon modelling and face painting followed by live music into the evening, and Sunday closes the weekend out with more live music by the water. Our full outdoor bar and hot dog food truck run all weekend.
